CTIA Wireless Foundation Launches Catalyst 2024
Competitive Grants Program Will Award More Than $200,000 to Support Social Entrepreneurs Using Wireless Innovation to Enhance American Communities
Washington- CTIA Wireless Foundation today announced the launch of Catalyst 2024, the fifth consecutive year of the competitive grants program for early-stage social entrepreneurs harnessing the power of wireless innovation to enhance lives and address challenges in American communities.
CTIA Wireless Foundation is encouraging ambitious social entrepreneurs, who are leveraging mobile-first solutions, to apply for Catalyst 2024 by the March 5th application deadline. The Foundation is committed to the principles of diversity and inclusion in supporting social enterprises, and organizations whose leadership primarily comprises Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC), women and/or veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Up to six finalists will be selected in late March for participation in an invitation-only second round. In April those finalists will be invited to submit a third-round application. From that group, three finalists will be selected as winners, with the first-place winner receiving a $100,000 grant, and the second and third place winners receiving $50,000 and $25,000 grants, respectively. Additional finalists will receive honorable mentions and $10,000 grants. Winners will be honored at an event in Washington D.C. in fall 2024.
